# Preface: The Fate of Valuation
This paper is not a “white-paper;” it is a “green-paper.”
**It presents the primary issue human civilization currently faces and an actionable solution that requests support from those who agree in whatever able capacity -- at a minimum, silent belief; ideally, joining the DAO.**
Human civilization grows at an average, positive rate that is exponential and dependent upon cognitive achievements that are widely accessible and collectively inexpensive.
Technological advancement and availability are driven by economic policy and practices.
The current workings of the economy inhibit innovation; the activity encourages the misallocation and degradation of resources. **This entire system distorts the value of all things and prevents invention -** because **there is no source of capital for true exploration (advanced R\&D).**
**Institutionalized bust/boom cycles** are **fiscally irresponsible.** This practice is **indoctrinated** as a tool of **financial freedom** but **perpetuates monarchical-slave mentalities** and **multi-generational inequality**.
**Wealth and prosperity come from exploration, resource preservation and innovation, and not by identifying valuation irregularities and repositioning leveraged illiquidity, as revered “value” investors flaunt their success while preaching the risks of tech-driven investing.**
**The wealth of “tech giants” proves this point.**
