# FxD: The Platform

#### FxD's FOREX/Fiat Exchange Platform Is Built For Fiat-to-Fiat without requiring a cryptocurrency intermediary; instant payments at the lowest cost with zero political risk & regulatory compliant.

### **The Platform:**

**Blockchain-agnostic - being built on the best: MATIC**

* The most secure, cheapest, scalability, and public, is the primary (primary what... or is that what you meant to say)?
* Extra blockchains preserve data and act as "crypto" asset ramps. (MATIC takes care of that with their Ethereum "backbone"

**Non-competitive, non-custodial, and zero political risk:**

* Connects to existing financial institutions for fiat-on/off ramps & integrates with major payment providers, banks, and institutions.
* Physical custody for FX/payment services nor using/purchasing/converting monies into cryptocurrency.

This makes it legal for its primary use where cryptocurrency is illegal or considered taxed.

As an FX/payment service - it is a single-peg, decentralized denominator for fiat monetary value transfer.

### **Commercial & Retail Uses**

* Platform can be redesigned for private corporations customized for various financial sectors:

 * Trade Finance, Factorization, Closed Financial Networks (all types i.e. Paypal, multinational financial insitutions, governmental etc) B2B

* Retail mobile peer-to-peer, Ecommerce etc.

## **Encourages:**

#### **FxD & its algo-peg(s) to be used on & off platform** **in multiple ways.**

**The next section goes into more detail.**

## **Backed-up:**

\
\
**In event of system outages, there is additional collateral to compensate, as described in the prior section, when the price is not available. The digital ledger records the timing.** \
\
**MATIC is a good example of a layer-2 that is tied to Ethereum as a "back-bone" default.**

* FOREX exchange digital-fiat-to-digital FX *denominator*-*... (what does that mean?!)*
* The system asks: how much does it cost to buy $1 of the underlying asset.

***Note: There will be major currencies needed to act as intermediaries for smaller fiats at first. Same as Bretton-Woods, except it used USD.***

***FxD will need to develop the standard via DAO membership and increasing usage volumes to become that central peg.***
